Operations of all business units of the Division are certified.

Delivering products and services of top quality and ensuring very high level of reliability is of major concern to every one in the Organization. The policy statement of the Division emphasises on retaining leadership position in the market and focuses on global presence too.

With diverse product range of the Division, operations dispersed in six geographical locations in India and under different ‘Strategic Business Units [SBUs], we have created independent Quality and Reliability organization responsible for specific Business Unit in a particular location. This ensures focussed responsibility and attention to each and every aspect of quality. These Quality Control and Reliability Departments work to provide confidence in product quality through QA activities.

Some of the key activities of Quality Control & Reliability Departments are:

  • Interact with design & engineering departments for evaluation of new products.
  • Formulate systems, QA plans & inspection guidelines.
  • Assessment & approval of vendors.
  • Evaluation of materials.
  • Ensure trouble free working life of products through reliability evaluation of the components and products.
  • Carry out process & product audits - both in house as well as at vendor.
  • Plan & Procure inspection instruments and tools.
  • Calibration of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
  • Impart skill-based training.
