ACB selection
Fault level calculations
Selection of ACB for various applications, finalizing specifications
Selection of protective release, setting for mininmum and maximum fault current, testing
Typical control scheme of ACB, interlocking, zone selectivity.
Retrofitting of ACB`s and their releases.
Study of ACB mechanism ,parts and their function.
Preventive maintenance of ACB
Setting of protective devices ,wiring and interlocking, mechanical and electrical antipumping.
Cleaning and replacement of spares, arc chutes and arcing contacts.
Overhauling of manually operated ACB`s upto 2500 A
Dismantling; cleaning; lubrication and reassembly of CT, Jaw contacts, pole assembly, and auxiliary contacts.
Fitting, setting and testing of protection release
Fitting,
setting and testing of accessories- undervoltage,
earthfault, microswitches.
