FOR WHOM :
Technicians with 3-4 years experience
Technicians mostly maintaining manually operated ACB`s
Advanced programme for those who have attended SMW programme.

Duration : 4 Days

Programme Contents :

  • Air Circuit Breakers-Role, types, classification .
  • Study of ACB mechanism, parts & their functions.
  • Preventive maintenance of ACB     
  • Setting of protective devices, wiring and interlocking, mechanical and electrical antipumping.     
  • Cleaning and replacement of spares, Arc-chutes and arcing contacts.
  • Overhauling of manually operated ACB`s upto 2500 A –Dismantling, cleaning & lubrication and reassembly of- CT, Jaw     Contacts, pole assembly, release, auxiliary contacts.
  • Fitting, setting and testing of protection relese .
  • Fitting, setting and testing of accessories – undervoltage, earthfault, microswitches .

    Workshop Sessions :

    All topics covered in workshop only with ACB in hand.

    Methodology :

    Intensive, structured hands on workshop sessions supported by demonstrations, videos, and product clinics.
