Typical LV power distribution scheme
    -Location and role of switchgear in distribution scheme
    -Terminology in LV switchgear

Understanding various switchgear products – construction, operation, testing, troubleshooting of Contactors, thermal     overload relays, switches/disconnectors, HRC fuses,ACB`s MCCB`s, starters, control accessories. .

Electrical safety.

Workshop Sessions :

Switchgear components – operation mechanism, parts, and their role, identification, and calibration. Fitting, setting and testing of accessories. Preventive Maintenance ,trouble shooting and spares replacement. Practicals on termination practise.

Methodology :

Lectures with long intensive and structured hands-on practise by ways of videos, demonstrations, and product clinics .
