L.V. Switchgear components and their role, operation, types,
features and applications .
Switchgears for motor control :
Contactors,
thermal overload relays, switches/switch-disconnectors, HRC
fuses, MPCB, and starters.
Switchgear
for Power control : BR> ACB,
MCCB, and MCB`s, ELCB, Capacitors.
Study of Various control accessories :
Push buttons,
Indicating lamps, selector switches, timers, Panel meters,
limit switches etc.
Preventive
maintenance.
Basic
Aspects of Termination practices
Workshop
Sessions :
All topics
covered in workshop only with products in-hand for
identification of parts, their role, testing, setting,
preventive maintenance of all L.V. switchgear components,
fitting of accessories. Methodology :
Hands-On
workshop exercises in a structured format supported by
demonstrations, videos, and product clinics .
